Yasutaka Narazaki received his B.S. and M.S. in the department of Civil Engineering at the University of Tokyo, Japan, and then received Ph.D. in 2020 from the department of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. His research interests are directed toward resilient and sustainable civil infrastructure systems through innovations in structural inspection and monitoring strategies.
Chao Qian received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hangzhou Dianzi University in 2015, and is anticipated to receive the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2020. He was a visiting Ph.D. student with the Biophotonics Laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering at California Institute of Technology in USA from August 2019 to August 2020.
钱超博士，助理教授。2015年本科毕业于杭州电子科技大学电子信息学院，2020年博士毕业于浙江大学信电学院，曾于2019-2020年在美国加州理工学院交流一年。专注电磁散射、隐身衣、新型电磁材料、机器学习和光计算等科学研究。博士期间，以第一作者发表高影响力SCI 论文 6 篇，包括 Nature Photonics、Physical Review Letters、Light: Science & Applications 和 ACS Photonics 等国际著名期刊（2 篇 ESI 高被引论文，1 篇编辑推荐论文），同时拥有 4 份授权/在审专利。入选“2018 年度浙江大学博士研究生学术新星培养计划”，“2020 年度启真杯浙江大学学生十大学术新成果”，获得“博士生国家奖学金”、“岑可法一等奖学金”、“浙江省优秀毕业生”、“ISEE 荣誉学子”、“全国研究生数学建模二等奖”、“优秀研究生”等荣誉。
Pavel Loskot obtained BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering and MSc degree in Radioelectronics from the Czech Technical University of Prague, Czech Republic. He was then Research Scientist and Project Manager in the Centre for Wireless Communications at the University of Oulu, Finland before moving to Canada to earn the PhD degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Alberta. Since 2007, he was a Senior Lecturer in Engineering at Swansea University, UK.
Howard H. Yang (S’13–M’17) received the B.E. degree in Communication Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China, in 2012, and the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong, in 2013. He earned the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore, in 2017.
Dr. Celebi is a materials scientist, with a background in physics and mechanical engineering. He obtained his BS and MS degrees in physics from Bilkent University, Turkey and from MIT, USA, respectively. He received his PhD degree in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich in 2014, where his thesis focused on through-pore graphene membranes. After his PhD study, Dr.
Dr. Yan is a lecturer in the Zhejiang University/University of Illinois atUrbana-Champaign Institute at the Zhejiang University, International Campus.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Queen Mary University of London at 2020. Before that she received her Bachelor and Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Xian Jiaotong University. Her research interests include unsustainable energy, wind turbine and computational fluid dynamics.
Prior to joining ZJUI, Dr.Zuozhu was a research fellow from the Department of Statistics and Applied Probability in National University of Singapore. Prior to joining NUS, he completed his PhD at Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2019 under the guidance of Prof. Tony Q.S. Quek and Prof. LIN Shaowei and B.Eng at Zhejiang University in 2015. During his PhD study, he visited the RIKEN AIP Japan, working with Dr.
Dr. Gaoang Wang joined ZJUI as an assistant professor in September 2020. His research interests are computer vision, machine learning, image and video processing, including multi-object tracking, pose estimation, deep neural networks and active learning, etc.
Said M. Mikki is currently an associate professor at Zhejiang University/University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (ZJU-UIUC) Institute, Haining, Zhejiang, China. He graduated from University of Mississippi, University, United States, in December 2008 with a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering.
