Research：

Professor Jianbo Zhang graduated from the Department of Physics, Zhejiang University in 1982, and got his PhD in Physics in 1987 from Zhejiang University. He began the study of lattice gauge theory as early as 1983, when he was a graduate student. During his graduate study, his thesis project for PhD was the investigation the lattice gauge theory through analytic methods and numerical simulations.

张剑波教授1982年7月本科毕业于浙江大学物理系，1987年12月获浙江大学理学博士学位，1988年1月留校任教。自1983年起从事格点规范理论的解析和数值模拟研究。是国内最早进行格点规范理论数值模拟研究的学者之一。曾负责国家自然科学青年基金项目《格点规范和高温超导理论中的拓扑问题》。1990年以后，曾转向高温超导，统计模型，神经网络，以及短时临界动力学的研究。1993年至1994年，赴丹麦哥本哈根大学尼尔斯•玻尔研究所进行人工神经网络的合作研究。1996年后，作为国家自然科学基金重点项目《胶子球的研究》主要成员重新开始了格点规范理论的数值模拟。1998年至2000年，赴美国Kentucky大学物理系合作研究，并取得了突出的成绩，研究成果发表在《Physical            Review Letter》上。2000年10月后，任澳大利亚Adelaide 大学研究员，在格点指标定理，真空的拓扑性质，夸克传播子，重子的质量谱和形状因子，非微扰重整化等方面均取得了重要成果。2005年6月重返浙江大学任教。
