To better demonstrate the charm of traditional Chinese culture, and deepen the understanding of culture for both Chinese and international students, national intangible cultural heritage—Haining Xiashi Lanterns are being displayed at the library on International Campus. Besides the exhibition, a lecture, given by the heir to this intangible cultural heritage, will be held to show you how to make and design colored-lanterns, and introduce to you the history of this traditional art.

In order to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between Zhejiang University and universities in Hong Kong, Professor Song Yonghua, Executive Vice President, ZJU led a delegation to HK top universities, including the University of Hong Kong (HKU), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), and City University of Hong Kong (CityU), laying a fruitful foundation for the establishment of Business School at International Campus, ZJU.

On November 22nd, "Tea-table Talk", a part of the "Faculty Social" series, was successfully held at "Hi-club" on International Campus. Chinese and foreign faculty and staff from different departments and colleges met together to learn about the tea culture, enjoy the tea performance and taste various kinds of tea flavor, during which they exchanged their experiences and understandings about traditional Chinese culture.

11月12-15日，宋永华常务副校长率团访问香港大学、香港中文大学、香港科技大学、香港理工大学与香港城市大学，进一步推动浙江大学与香港高校的交流合作，考察香港高校商学院建设现状与举措，为我校筹建国际商学院积累经验。

11月22日下午，校区中外教职工参加的“品茗论教”茶叙活动在海纳居举行。大家一起学习茶叶知识，欣赏茶艺表演，品鉴不同种类的茶汤，还从茶文化畅谈开去，交流了对中国传统文化的认识与体会。

为进一步展现中国传统文化魅力，提升中外师生对中国文化的认识，国家级非物质文化遗产——“海宁硖石灯彩”在国际校区图书馆布展。此次灯彩展将以灯彩展示、讲座、灯彩制作、灯彩历史介绍文本展示、灯彩摄影比赛等多种形式进行。灯彩展吸引了中外师生驻足观赏，流连忘返。
