On Aug. 17, Prof. LI Erping from the ZJU-UIUC Institute, International Campus, and the Zhejiang University College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering received the 2021 Laurence G. Cumming Award for Outstanding Service at the 2021 Joint IEEE International Virtual Symposium on EMC+ SIPI.

On May 18, the "Jiaxing Talent Day" launch ceremony was grandly held. At the ceremony, ZJUI Assistant Professor Mark D. Butala, as one of the seven outstanding Jiaxing talent representatives selected by the organizer, described his life at ZJUI, in Jiaxing and told the story of his coming to work in Jiaxing from the United States. He was awarded the Honor Award of the 'Beautiful City & Residents' .
