In order to satisfy the teaching and academic needs of students and faculties, the library is going to open from May 6th. To enhance epidemic prevention, library and IT service is arranged as follows:
1. Library Service
i. Opening Hours: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Sunday (No entry after 3:30 p.m.)
ii. Opening Regions: The first and second floors will be open, while the third floor will be temporarily closed. The Reading Studio, Phone Booth and elevators are suspended. The Fusion Cafe is temporarily closed.
2. IT Service
i. Opening Hours: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Sunday
ii. Consultancy: It is suggested to use remote service such as e-mail or phone call. If a drop-in service is necessarily required, please contact ITS in advance. We will arrange it in off-peak period. IT service hotline: 87572669, email: itservices@intl.zju.edu.cn
3. Requirements
i. The main entry is at the south entrance on the first floor. To enter the library, any person must receive body temperature check and hands disinfection. When entering the library, please keep a distance with others and stay in order. Please wear masks at all time in the library. You are not allowed to enter the library unless wearing a mask correctly.
ii. Limiting measure is adopted now. If it exceeds the maximum number, you will not be able to enter the library. The real-time number of people in the library can be checked through the website (http://10.203.97.155/home/book/view).
iii. It is recommended to use the self-serviced machine to borrow and return books and to use self-serviced sterilizer when borrowing books. Do not put books and periodicals back on bookshelf by yourself when you finish reading them, please place them in the specified location next to the shelf. All the books will be disinfected and returned by librarians.
iv. In the reading area, please sit in the opposite corners. Do not move the chair at will or sit closely with others. When dealing with service, please keep over one meter to avoid group gathering.
v. Services such as device borrowing, offline lecture and library visit are suspended and will be gradually opened as appropriate.
During the epidemic period, the library will be disinfected and ventilated every day, please cooperate with the staffs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Thanks for your understanding.
