Dear All,
Recently, Library&Information Center noticed Eternal Blue downloader Trojan has changed again. It generated large file Trojans are copied to multiple system directories and started through the registry startup items and Windows scheduled tasks. Currently, there are already several PCs on campus that have been attacked.
For the safety purpose, please follow below instructions:
1. Close unnecessary ports (such as 135, 139, 445), please refer to below for details: (https://www.thewindowsclub.com/block-open-port-windows-8-firewall );
2. Timely upgrade operating system security patches, you can use online update (open Windows Update update) or patch corresponding to this vulnerability (https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-cn/security-updates/Securitybulletins/2017/ms17 -010);
3. Install anti-virus software or enable Windows Defender on Windows 10, and keep the virus database up to date;
4. Please set strong password for you PC.
5. You can contact ITS for help if your PC has been attacked.
