香港特区政府于10月29日举行2016年度勋衔颁授典礼，行政长官梁振英出席。国际校区书院院长徐立之教授作为最高荣誉——大紫荆勋章的七个获得者之一，获香港特区行政长官梁振英授勋。除徐立之外，其余六人为香港政务司司长林郑月娥、民建联前立法会议员谭耀宗、全国政协常委陈永棋、前行政会议成员罗仲荣、菱电集团创办人胡法光以及前教育统筹委员会主席郑慕智。

On Oct 21st and 22nd, athlete team from ZJU international campus debuted at the 2016 ZJU sports game as well as realized a break-through of medal. International team, composed of 18 athletes, participated in the competition of 22 projects. Apart from this, more than 30 students from international campus attended “ten thousand-people long running”, which is a part of the “sunshine sports”project aiming to advocate students to join in the sports games. Regardless of a series of difficulties and challenges including unfavorable weather and long distance ride, athletes transcended ego, pushed hard and displayed their sportsmanship as well.

On October 14th, Li Juan, a counsellor from Mental Health Education and Consulting Center of Zhejiang University, came to Haining international campus and had a discussion with students on a series of topics like how to adapt to college life, how to develop interpersonal skills and how to balance academic work and extracurricular activities.

From October 9 to October 11, 2016, the Residential College held several meetings for students to communicate directly with dean Lap-Chee Tsui. According to students’ appointment, the dean held several meetings with students, discussing many interesting topics, such as professional interests, personal development, extra-curricular activities etc. Dean also shared a lot about his research days, his social experiences as well as his actions supporting the student societies as the president of HKU.

The second Distinguished Lecture was presented by Professor James Robson and Parima G. Patil at Residential College, International Campus, Zhejiang University on 24th Oct 2016, attracting dozens of Chinese and international students to learn about the East and South Asian religions and Buddhism.
