Notice regarding the Online Counselling Reservation for RC “Mentor Workshop”


To promote “Whole-person Education”,  build students’ growth service platform and facilitate students’ comprehensive ability development, the Residential College in cooperation with  mentors  established “Mentor Workshop”. Students can get the“inquiry-styled” consulting services and “menu-styled”through the "Mentor Workshop"bt reservation.

Throughout the epidemic control, available mentors from the “Mentor Workshop” will provide their services through online approaches. Online and offline methods shall be used after students’ return to the Residential College.

  1. Procedure to form an appointment

  1. Individual consultants are required to make reservations 48 hours in advance; group consultants are required to make reservations one week in advance. 

  2. Students need to complete the Residential College’s “Mentor Workshop” information registration form (Appendix 1) and send it to rc@intl.zju.edu.cn.

  3. RC secretaries will inform the student/applicant via email once the appointment is successfully made. Those who failed to make an appointment will receive an email reminder and can continue to make appointments for the next valid period. (the “Mentor Workshop” will conduct all appointments through email by the time being. Online appointments will be established once the online platform is fully developed)

  1. After counselling/tutoring, student(s) will receive an email reminder that allows evaluation feedback. Students are welcomed to provide feedbacks through the attached link.

  2. The Residential College will organize mentor seminars or related surveys regularly, actively listen to the opinions and suggestions from mentors regarding the development of students, continuously improve and adjust the platform construction to provide better services to the teacher-student community.

  3. Mentor/tutors information will be updated from time to time. Please pay attention to myZJU and Residential College’s official website for further updates.
