Facing the Challenges, Embracing the Future: Program Introduction, Course Selection and Learning Instruction for the Class of 2021

At 9:00 a.m., August 29, ZJUI Program Introduction, Course Selection and Learning Instruction for the Class of 2021 was held at Auditorium, Teaching Building A, the International Campus. ZJUI Vice Dean Prof. Ma Hao chaired the event, and Dean Prof. Li Erping, Assistant Dean Lu Qiang and Assistant Dean Chen Ying were also present.

Ryan Flanagan

Ryan Flanagan is a lecturer in the English Dept. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Ph.D. in Creative Nonfiction in 2015 from the University of North Texas. His  nonfiction can be found in journals such as Image, DIAGRAM, and CutBank. He is a two-time recipient of the Edward F. Albee Foundation's Writer's Fellowship.

Mark D. Butala

Mark D. Butala教授在2010年获得了电气和计算机工程博士学位。随后,他作为电离层和大气遥感小组的成员加入了美国加州理工学院喷气推进实验室的技术人员团队。2017年,他成为了浙江大学国际校区ZJU-UIUC学院的教职人员。他的研究方向包括遥感图像形成理论、蒙特卡罗理论和统计信号处理理论和实践,以及严格的贝叶斯方法在科学中对大数据领域问题的应用。
