Vusal Huseynov was born and raised in Azerbaijan in 1994. In 2015,he obtained his bachelor degree in International Relations and and Economics from Baku State University and in 2017, He received Master in International Studies from European Institute. He has also done a summer exchange at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He speak English, Azerbaijani, Turkish fluently, French and German at intermediate level. Currently, He is doing his master in China Studies at ZJU. 

Dantong Zhao is a PhD candidate in discourse studies at School of International Studies, Zhejiang University. She was a visiting scholar at Purdue University from 2015 to 2016. She got her B.A in English studies with a dual degree in management studies at Zhejiang University. Her research interests include cultural discourse studies and crisis communication.
