Associate Professor of Chemistry at Zhejiang University. He received his M.S. in 1995 and BS in 1992 from East China University of Science and Technology.  He completed his Ph.D. in 2003 and postdoctoral research in 2004 at the University of Missouri-Rolla.  He has many years’ experience of both teaching and research in inorganic chemistry.  His researches focus on clean solar energy conversion and storage, such as electrodeposition and energy up/down conversion properties of rare earth functional thin films, epitaxial electrodeposition and photoelectrochemical properties of semiconductor thin films, and thin film solar cell.  He has published over 50 peer reviewed journal articles.  His researches are supported by the National Basic Research Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province.
