On-boarding process for Foreign Experts

1. Receive and Sign the Initial offer of Employment and Initial Agreement of Employment;

2. Apply for Penal Clearance Certificate (Chinese and English) and Heath Certificate or Statement of medical examination after enter;

3. Provide related documents to apply Foreign Experts Working Permit: (1) Copy of passport info pages; (2) Copy of valid passport of accompanying family member(s); (3) Copy of notarized relationship certificate between the applicant and accompanying family member(s) (4) Copies of highest academic diploma or professional certificates (Chinese&English); (5) Penal Clearance Certificate (Chinese&English); (6) Health certificate or statement of medical examination after entry; (7) CV (Chinese&English); (8) Copy of Initial offer of Employment and Initial Agreement of Employment; (9) Two identical colour photos;

4. Receive Foreign Experts Working Permit and Invitation Letter; Getting Z Visa at the local Chinese embassy;

5. Buy flight ticket, and arrive International Campus, Zhejiang University in Haining;

6. Get Campus Card at COC; Check in Teacher’s apartment; Communicate with the department; Get office space;

7. Provide related documents to apply Foreign Experts Certificate Application (1) Copy of passport info pages; (2) Copy of Z Visa and entry seal; (3) Copy of Health Certificate; (4) Two identical colour photos

8. Provide related documents to apply Residence Permit Application (1) Original and copy of Foreign Experts Certificate (2) Original and copy of Temporary Hukou, evidence of accommodation (3) Official letter from the employment unit, original and copy of passport and visa, health certificate (4) For accompanying family member(s): registration form, original and copy of passport and visa, original and copy of marriage certificate(birth certificate) and its notarial certification issued by China's embassies in foreign countries (Notarization is unnecessary if marriage or birth place is in China), health certificate, two identical colour photos
