Dr. Xiaomei Wang is an associate professor in the School of Marxism of Zhejiang University. She is also a Zhijiang Young Scholar on Social Science of Zhejiang Province. She earned her PhD degree in Philosophy from the School of Humanity of Zhejiang University in June 2013. She was a visiting scholar in the Philosophy Faculty of Oxford University from August 2017 to August 2018.
Her research interests include Modern Philosophy,German Philosophy from the 18th through the 20th centuries, Marx, Marxism, Epistemology, Philosophy of mind and action (autonomous action),Ethics of Neuro science.
She has been working on the research projects such as The Western theories of Autonomy funded by the National Social Science Foundation, The Personal Autonomy in Chinese Culture funded by the Association of Social Science of Zhejiang Province, Personal Autonomy in Neuro science supported by the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, China Special Post-doctoral Science Foundation funded project,and China Post-doctoral Science Foundation funded project.
Her work has been published on Journal of Philosophical Researches, Journal of Philosophical Researches, Philosophical Trends, Studies in Dialectics of Nature and Journal of Ethics.
