9月15日，《浙江大学报》第三版以“国际联合学院：在湄潭遇自己”为题，对国际校区赴贵州湄潭暑期社会实践小分队进行了报道。

9月14日，中国学中心2017级开学仪式在海宁国际校区举行。国际校区常务副院长何莲珍，副院长丁冠中，中国学中心主任范捷平、副主任瞿海东，以及中国学教师代表参加了开学仪式。仪式由中国学2016级学生David和Alesia主持。参加仪式的还有中国学2016级学生代表与中国学中心办公室全体人员。

On May 26th, the first student conference was held at the Multi-purpose Hall of Residential College. All International Campus undergraduate students participated in the event. Fu Qiang (ZJU Assistant President and International Campus Secretary of Party Working Committee and Vice Dean) and representatives from International Campus Office of Student Affairs, Joint Institutes, and Student Union attended the conference.

The inauguration ceremony for 2017 freshmen was held in the stadium on Zijingang Campus in the evening of August 27th. Thousands of parents, friends, and teachers gathered at the ceremony to congratulate the students on joining the big family of Zhejiang University and wish them the very best in embarking on a new journey with passion and confidence.
