Sweet March,the spring’s best month, blooms every thing.On the afternoon of March 8th, the first tree-planting ceremony was held to celebrate the 39th Arbor Day at the east green belts of International Campus, Zhejiang University. There were almost 100 guests attending the ceremony: including the representatives of faculties and students, municipal officials of Haining, staffs of the campus construction headquarter and campus builders who are responsible for the second part of campus project.

春意融融，阳光和煦，明媚的三月正是植绿播种的好时节。3月8日下午，浙江大学国际联合学院（海宁国际校区）师生代表、海宁市委市政府有关领导、校区建设指挥部办公室和校区二期的建设者约一百余人，齐聚在即将竣工的海宁国际校区东们绿化地举行“种下绿色收获希望”——国际校区举行纪念第39个植树节活动。

3月12日，形势与政策课暨书院名师讲堂2017第一讲在书院多功能厅举行。来自浙江大学公共管理学院、浙江大学非传统安全与和平发展研究中心主任——余潇枫教授，为大家带来了题为“国际格局与大国关系“的精彩讲座。

On March 7th , the Residential College held a "lunch with Professors". Lap-Chee Tsui, Master of Residential College invited Prof. Shuk Han Cheng from City University of Hong Kong and Prof. Anna Wang Reo from Qiushi Academy for Advanced Studies Zhejiang University to International Campus and had a lunch at the cafeteria with students. The students signing-up for this activity talked about studying abroad, research direction, and foreign etiquette etc. with the professors.

On Mar. 6th, Residential Master Lap-Chee Tsui, held a “ Master’s Salon” at the multi-purpose Hall. The Vice Dean of International Campus Prof. K.C.Ting, Executive Dean of Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute Prof. Philip T. Krein, Vice Dean of Zhejiang University-Edinburgh University Institute Prof. Lu Linrong, were invited to the salon, and had a lively interaction with the residential students.

The students visit the Qinshan nuclear power plant on Mar. 4th last week. The branch of Young League Committee have self-organized this activity. More than 30 students from both ZJI and ZJE have attend this event.

秦山，秦始皇千年前望海的地方。秦山核电站，中国大陆第一座核电站。地处浙江海盐，古代因盐扬名。 为什么要参观核电站？对我而言，核电，一直都很神秘；高中订过一年《科学世界》，有一期是以国家能源为主题的，详细介绍了我国现在各类能源的发展，以及能源与经济的关系。尽管里面的知识和数据不记得了，但心里面，提起能源，就有了一种很澎湃的感觉，因为这是与国家发展息息相关的。出发前一天晚上和当天早上用了一个多小时查了些资料，尽管核电站元件结构的复杂原理看了有点迷茫，但至少对目前核电的发展情况——福岛遗留问题的处理、中国核电站的发展建设略知一二。

3月7日中午，书院举行了“与教授共进午餐”活动。徐立之院长邀请了来自香港城市大学的Shuk Han Cheng教授，以及来自浙江大学求是高等研究院的Anna Wang Reo教授与学生在餐厅共进午餐，并进行了互动交流。

3月6日晚，书院院长徐立之教授在多功能厅举行书院院长沙龙，邀请了国际联合学院副院长K.C.Ting教授，浙江大学-伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳香槟校区联合学院外方执行院长Philip Krein教授，浙江大学-爱丁堡大学联合学院副院长鲁林荣教授，共同参与主持本次沙龙，并与书院同学进行了热烈的互动。
