On the afternoon of December 26th, an internship campus talk and a career mentor seminar were held at Yuanzheng Hotel in International Campus. Recruitment representatives from Vivo and Huawei shared the internship programs in their companies with students of International Campus, including more than 60 international students.

The lecture hall was already full before the campus talk began. The international students from various majors came here in advance to learn more about the internship programs which may provide English speaking environment for them.

After the detailed introduction on the companies’ basic situation, talent demand, internship opportunities, recruitment process, salary system, and career development of their companies, the recruitment representatives expressed welcome to our students from home and abroad. As a good news, these two companies have a large number of overseas internship positions for international students.

Students cared a lot about how to make themselves ready for the recruitment, or how to get the exact information on job opportunities, also practical suggestions for interview skill, etc. All these questions were kindly answered during the Q&A session.

On that afternoon, a career mentors’ seminar was also held in our campus. 18 career mentors employed by ZJU were invited to attend the seminar and talked about the joint cultivation on talents between the University and employers.
